Usually alteration begins with foundation. If you are not gifted with perfect skin, it is must to apply foundation that will give a perfect skin. The aim behind using foundation is not just to add color, but to make a canvas.

1. First decide which foundation will match your skin tone. Don’t apply it in vast but in dots over the mid part of the face, then mix it either using a sponge or fingertips until it wraps your whole face.
2. Apply concealer under eye circles and blend with a sponge. If your concealer is in the form of a bar then first use eye cream.
3. Use powder to sustain foundation and concealer for a long time.
4. Next come eyebrows. Always go for powdered eyebrow shadow instead using pencil. Apply with the help of a brush.
5. Now it is turn to use eye shadow. There are three shades light, dark and medium. Dark is for upper eyelid, medium can be used for the crease and light one is applied to the area under the eye.
6. Apply eyeliner. Always use cake liner with thin brush or an eyeliner pencil. First line the lower area below the lashes, then apply to the upper eyelid.
7. Now it is time to apply mascara to both upper and lower lashes, in one or two coats. If skin color is fair, then go for brown color mascara and if dark then black mascara will suit better, or else can choose mascara with suitable color.
8. If want to make cheeks to be like apple then apply blush, apply lipsticks according to skin color and then finally use lip liner.
9. To fix nails, always try to give a square shape to the nails, now to make it shiny apply one or two coat of nail polish.
