Transguy here! I wish people would realize how fluid gender really is. I dress ‘butch’ with plaid jackets and band t-shirts and baggy jeans, but shop for earrings and leggings at claire’s, and I couldn’t live without the colour pink.
“The day you claimed AIDS was a gift of God our wheels started spinning like Christ turning over in His grave” — as a gay-affirming Christian, that line gives me chills.
This poem made me cry. Words have power and this woman uses them like a genius, I have no words to describe her genius, except that they make me cry, and I love them.
@melonleeadventures Or how they dress~ I’ve seen a person before who identified as a male, but loved women and wore dresses. You never know who the person is.

I’m confused. Is she transgendered?
As a fellow gender bender I’m glad she is able to put my thoughts and feelings into beautiful poetry.
amazing poem!!
Gender is a social construct. Nothing more.
@blazneg2007 Good point.
I have gone out and watched more videos of this performer.
NOW I think she’s a genius.
Waddya say now?
OMG this gave me shivers.

@blazneg2007 if you watch more of her performances, you may agree with the term “genius”
@theforthwright Ya know, genius has a specific meaning. She is talented and wonderful, but really you have no idea if she is a genius based on this.

@legitlexit21 it’s pink barrette
This has been added to our playlist, here, and on facebook, thank you….
Im in love with her writing.
I think she said “pink barrette” not “papperet”.. maybe I’m wrong!
I don’t like this.
I love this.

@tangent94 a papperet is a craft knife, like a blade that retracts into a case. to cut the binder with.
@FutileObsession what’s a papperet?
such a beautiful piece!
